| What can I do if I know someone is helping another person infringe my patent? Section 60(2) of the UK Patents act states that a person indirectly infringes a patent if, while the patent is in force and without the consent of the proprietor, he supplies or offers to supply in the UK when he knows, or it is obvious to a reasonable person in the circumstances, that it amounts to an infringement. Civil remedies include: - the "Anton Piller" search order - the Mareva freezing order - an Interim, final or post-expiry injunction - Damages, and - Accounts of profit |
